On Friday, January 17, we held our school level competition to determine the National Geographic GeoBee Rhoades School champion. Sixth grader Ingrid Spindler and seventh grader Jonah Berman tied for third place. Our second-place runner up was eighth grader James Blue. Our Rhoades School Champion is seventh grader Tejas Ravi—whose work is not complete: On Tuesday, January 28, Tejas will be taking the online Qualifying Test to determine if he will move on to statewide competition. The National Geographic state level of the GeoBee will be held in Fresno on March 27, 2020 with the national level competition to be held sometime in May. Congratulations to all of our student participants, who showed that they definitely know their way around the world!
