The Rhoades School Girl Rising Club began last week to launch the 2023-2024 school year!
At The Rhoades School, we take great pride in our partnership with Girl Rising and our shared commitment to empowering girls through education. We firmly believe that education is a fundamental right, not a privilege, and recognize its transformative power in breaking down barriers and fostering opportunities for girls to pursue their dreams.
Our school’s passionate students lead the Girl Rising Club, dedicated to supporting girls’ education on a global scale. Through various initiatives such as bake sales, speaker events, online fundraisers, and our annual bazaar, we work tirelessly to raise awareness and funds. These resources enable us to provide scholarships and essential tools that empower young women academically.
We wholeheartedly support Girl Rising in its mission to ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has access to education. We invite everyone to join us in this noble cause to empower girls through education, fostering a more just and equitable world for all. We eagerly anticipate the impactful efforts of this year’s group of students.
What’s even more thrilling? Four of our former students currently hold the position of president within their respective Girl Rising Clubs at their high schools!
