Schedule a Tour A Peek Into Our Classrooms Transitional Kindergarten Our students learn to spell simple words and practice their grammar. They engage in hands-on activities to explore math, like counting and shapes. They build their fine and gross motor skills, learn science words, and discover ways to use technology. They also express themselves through art and music while making new friends and learning to share. Kindergarten In kindergarten, children have so much fun learning new things! They listen to stories and practice understanding them, share their ideas using full sentences, and work with numbers. They learn about helpers in their community, explore science by asking questions, and make art. They also play musical instruments, learn Spanish words, and play sports and games. 1st Grade Students in 1st grade improve their reading and writing, work with numbers up to 100, and learn about different places on a map. They do fun science experiments and share what they learn. They also discover famous artists, explore Spanish culture and language, find rhythms in music, play with robots, and learn how to stay healthy and active. 2nd Grade In 2nd grade, our students work on reading better and sharing their thoughts in front of others. They begin learning multiplication and division, study continents and geography words, and explore how electricity and magnets work. They use Spanish words to talk with friends, create art with different tools, build robots, and learn about famous composers. They also play games that build teamwork and gross motor skills. 3rd Grade Our 3rd grade students practice reading with good pacing and expression, write reports with multiple paragraphs, and solve geometry problems. They learn about the regions of California, explore shapes and spaces in art, and practice using Spanish verbs. They also make music, improve their typing skills, and learn how to use strategies to play sports and games. 4th Grade In 4th grade, our students read fiction and non-fiction, write essays, and solve algebra and geometry problems. They learn about the first American colonies, study how plants make food, and grow their own art style. They describe themselves in Spanish, create new sounds in music, and work on technology projects. They also discover how fitness helps keep them healthy and strong. 5th Grade In 5th grade, our students use stories to find answers, write and edit strong thesis statements, and study numbers and fractions. They learn about prehistoric people of the Southwest, explore Earth’s layers and rocks, and share their own ideas through art. They practice Spanish in a hands-on way, create music with modern tools, and build and program a Mars lander. They even work together to improve their skills in fun physical activities.
