Mrs. Jessica Cascell - 1st Grade

Dear class,

Welcome to first grade!  I am thrilled to be teaching first grade again and I’m looking forward to sharing my year with you.  It’s going to be an amazing experience for us all. I have many special memories of when I was in first grade, and I’m looking forward to making your year just as unforgettable!

I can’t wait to welcome you all on the first day of school, on August 30, 2021.  We will spend the first few weeks getting acquainted and learning about first grade rules, routines, and expectations.  I have some fun ice-breaker activities planned to help us get to know one another better.

On the first day of school make sure you bring a small backpack (backpacks with wheels are not permitted), a water bottle with your name, an a.m. and p.m. snack as well as a lunch if you are not ordering through Choice hot lunch program.  

I’m counting down the days until school begins.  I will do my best to ensure that you have a successful year filled with wonderful learning experiences, valuable friendships, and joyful memories!
