Hello! My name is Paige Wade, and I am a second grade teacher at the Rhoades School. I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Carlsbad, California as a young girl. I was very fortunate to attend elementary, middle, and high school in the Carlsbad area. I graduated from the University of San Diego with a BA in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Credential (K-8).
Teaching is my passion and I am grateful to pursue it as my career. This will be my fifth year at the Rhoades School, and I am so proud to be a part of this community of educators.
My other passions include going to the beach, traveling, and riding horses. My husband and I enjoy taking our dogs, Penny and Cash, to the dog beach on the weekends. We also love to take yearly road trips to National Parks (so far Zion has been our favorite)! Lastly, I have been riding horses for 20 years and own a horse named Isabel.
I am thrilled to be teaching second grade and I look forward to an unforgettable year with you! I cannot wait to see you all on the first day of school, August 30, 2021.
