Special Events:Our social gatherings bring us together as a community and include events like school dances, spirit days, science fairs, open mic night, book fairs, and carnivals and more!
Service Learning & Community Service: We offer students the opportunity to contribute to the local community and learn civic responsibility. Each year, our students participate in service learning opportunities tied to the annual theme. Students take the lead in the development and implementation of every project. In the past, we’ve supported organizations such as Feeding America San Diego, Casa de Amistad and Speak up for the Poor.
Field Study & Discovery Trips: All students at The Rhoades School participate in field study and/or discovery trips. Students are able to explore the community and make real-world connections to what they are learning.
After School Enrichment & Extended Day:We offer extended hours year-round to make it easy for parents to drop off and pick up their children. We also provide fun and enriching after-school programs in the arts, athletics and academics.
